DJ iZem ignites the dancefloors with a raw fusion of urban music mixing the infectious rumba of the sound-systems made in Congo, the psychedelic rhythms of Moroccan trance, a cutting edge spirit of the London bass culture, afro percussions from North-East Brazil, ecstatic Balkan brass and sensual Cumbia swings. Musical tastemaker with a worldwide following, he is the co-founder of Radio Groovalizacion on which he co-host the weekly programme “Dublin Tropical”. He has lived and performed as a DJ and musician in France, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, the UK, Ireland and Morocco. DJ iZem has shared the bill with artists such as Balkan Beat Box, Uproot Andy, Bomba Estéreo, Fauna, El Remolon, Chocquibtown, Toy Selectah… He has played in many festivals including Lovebox, Electric Picnic, the Festival of World Cultures and is a regular of the Dublin, London and Paris club scene spinning at the Notting Hill Arts Club, Passing Clouds, Camino, Twisted Pepper, POD or le Dansoir...
